Community Library
Children in Uganda learn English in school, but have little access to books. In 2009, Partnership Uganda worked with community leaders to launch the Bulumagi Community Library and Study Centre. The library's collection has grown to over 1000 volumes, with a growing number of textbooks and novels for older readers as well as storybooks for children. The Study Centre also houses a microscope, maps, a globe, and art supplies. The library remains a hub of activity among children in the village as they gather to read, paint, and study after school.
Please donate to help the number of books in the library grow!
