Child Sponsorship

To attend school in Uganda, children must pay mandatory school fees that cover the cost of a uniform, paper and pencils, and other supplies.  These fees, although small by U.S. standards, are prohibitive for many Ugandan families.  Partnership Uganda operates a child sponsorship program that allows U.S. sponsors to pay children's school fees, thus removing a significant barrier to education.
Since our founding in 2007, Partnership Uganda has sponsored the education of 60 children, from primary to secondary school to vocational programs and university.  Our graduates include nurses, midwives, auto mechanics, civil engineers, lab technicians, tailors, hairdressers, and teachers.
